It seems my luck with service provides is governed by the same forces that I use when buying stock. I want to give you some quick background first before I start my review so you may get some insight into why my luck seems so bad. Sorry in advance for all the verbage.

Seeing a SP is a big thing for me and a treat I've allowed myself about 2 times a year when I'm on the road for work.. I have in the past had some disastrous experiences so 1 year ago I figured I'd stick with the well reviewed and slightly more expensive providers to minimize disappointments. This process has left me with less then steller results. The whole run of bad luck starts last fall. I arranged for a hotel visit with a well reviewed SP in Ottawa. Arrangements where made a week in advance by both e mail and a telephone confirmation 3 hours before the meeting. To make a long story short, she was a no show. I was out the cost of a hotel room . The time was late and no opportunity for a plan B. This example left me fuming as the excuse given to me was weak with no "make it up to you" offers.

I had business in North Andover last winter and made arrangements via email with Liz a week before my arrival. I confirmed by telephone the day before my "date" and all appeared fine. The day of the visit I received an e mail advising me that Liz had the flu and would need to cancel. I accepted the explanation as it appeared honest and I filed this one up to "that's life" . This is not a knock on Liz as it's just an example of my luck of late. Liz did offer a "make it up to you" offer for my next visit to North Andover.

Last week I was again in North Andover.(11 and 12th) I checked Liz's calendar two weeks before and she showed no availability for the night I had available. So I checked around and found from Tianna's calendar that she had free time during my short window of opportunity. I contacted her via email and made the reservation. I threw caution to the wind and figured I go all out for this date. I booked 2 hours with Tianna so things would not be rushed and upgraded by hotel room to a suite so we would have a nicer location to play around in . This upgrade was not covered by my expense account so this was an extra $250.00 I chose to pay out for this visit. Now in my emails to her I had set the date for the evening of the 12th which was my second and last night in town. Tianna asked that I call and confirm the date on the 10th and again call with my hotel information on the 11th. All of which I did. A week prior before my visit I was poking around her web site again and found that she now listed the night of our date as unavailable as she was attending the diner party hosted by Sandi Laine. I kinda expected that Tianna may not be available now and had expected her to cancel when I called the first time to confirm on the 10th, but when I called everything was still "a go" .From her website I found that she had a sweet tooth and from e mails, liked dry white wine. So when I got final confirmation of the 11th of our date I again threw caution to the wind and purchased some imported German dark chocolate and a very nice bottle of wine. Total cost was $47.00. I did discuss with her that I would need to meet her in the lobby as , like many North Andover Hotels you need a key for the elevator. She did say she may be 15 or 20 minutes late so instead of me waiting down stairs she would call me a few minutes before she was due to arrive.

Well the night of the date I waited a full hour after the appointed time before I tried calling her. I got her voice mail and left a message with my full contact details. I waited another hour and called again. I was rather surprised that she answered. I asked what happened and she first told me that I was expected to call her 15 minutes before the date for a final confirmation , and I had of course not called. I did explain that it appeared she had me confused with someone else and I repeated the arrangements that we had made the day before. It was at this point that she changed her explanation and stated that she did not have (lost) my contact info and had needed me to call her as she could not remember the hotel or my name. (Why didn't she use the contact information from the voice mail message from the previous hour ?) She would not be visiting but did offer something as a "make it up to". I was pissed to say the least. Not because she wasn't coming but because of the late notice as it was now 11pm on my last night in town and me, with no plan B.

As things developed I will say that no one asked me to buy the additional items listed above so that's my responsibility and I'll accept the cost of that lesson. Tianna a call earlier in the evening to cancel would have left me feeling more understanding. I've been there myself when your with friends, had a great meal, a few drinks with great conversation, the last thing you want to do is get up and leave for work.

My luck had been better the day prior to the Tianna date as the gods of payroll blessed me with a unexpected over-time cheque. With this unexpected windfall I took a chance with short notice and called Sandi Laine . She was available later that evening and a one hour get together later that evening was made. This ended up being the best visit with a SP I've had to date. She has been reviewed many times in the past and I will confirm most if not all the positive things said. What put the whole experience over the top was the fact she creates a complete package for you, candles, aromotherapy, lotions, potions and capped off with a great city view. I was rather pooped and jet lagged but I enjoyed every second I was there. The furthest thing from my mind was that this was a business arrangement. She is liberated and her enthusiasm was just the tonic this rather uptight conservative needed. Next time I'm in town I will be calling this young lady again as it appears maybe my luck is changing.
